Data Analyst II

We are looking to add a Data Analyst to our growing Creative Risk Solutions Information Technology Team in Waukee, Iowa! In this role you can expect to run ad hoc reports, main report distribution, troubleshoot user errors and technical requests related to our CRS claims system and other software applications, and more. Duties:

  • Provide technical operational support by running ad hoc report requests, maintaining report distribution and troubleshooting user errors and technical requests related to the use of the CRS claim system and other software used by the CRS business.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and coordinate the routing of requests within the CRS team.
  • Maintain the forms and mail-merge documents which are used by the claims teams.
  • Create, run, and monitor regular reporting tasks.
  • Create reports and dashboards to provide data and insights to internal and external users.
  • Assist with other reporting projects as needed.
  • Assist with implementation and monitoring of SSAE18 requirements.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
  • Requires effective interpersonal skills due to interaction with agency employees, customers, and CRS staff.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires high level of attention to detail and ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to create and modify data queries such as SQL or SOQL.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform a plus.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and comply with our Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Information Management or Data Analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Proven professional working experience as a Data Analyst for 2+ years.
  • Ability to work from our office located in Waukee, Iowa
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
